Introducing Teletherapy a Virtual Experience in Mental Health

At Anew Family Counseling Center (AFCC), we pride ourselves in providing innovative, specialized treatment and services for our clients. Due to the CDC recommendation and the recent mandate by the San Antonio Mayor that Bexar County residents stay home unless there is a need for essential travel, we are excited to offer our community teletherapy, virtual sessions conducted via video. The process is simple and user-friendly. The client simply clicks on the provider's link, which is sent (via email) to you prior to your first session. You are then taken to a virtual waiting area until the provider begins the session. There are No downloads or software upgrades required. You will only need access to the internet or a reliable cellular service, if connecting by phone. The client is able to use any device available (tablet, phone, or computer) to connect via the provided link.
